            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since the translations are done by replacing the "word - missing space" with "word - translation", if another word ends in the same letters as the word translated before, they will both receive the same translation, resulting in the word with an additional prefix having 2 translations combined.             <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sometimes when the student knows the rest of the vocabulary box well enough and I know what's most important, I will conduct "backwards lessons" basically started from choosing a small handful of phrases from the white box, introducing them with 2 questions each, then place them in the yellow box. I will then revise any older words starting with the yellow box (any that were there before I added the new ones) then the middle blue box then students ask questions using the grey lower box as per usual.</p><p>Any thoughts on this process? Should we use it? Can it be altered in any way?</p>]]></content:encoded>

You should neither add any of the revised words in the student's HW (above the question they were first used in) nor its translation, although there might be a situation where it is more than welcome.</p><p>Usually it happens when the student claims they are familiar with this vocabulary and there is no need to for you to introduce it anew. </p><p>In this case, simply suggest that they could benefit from revising this vocabulary and add it to the MIDDLE level of the VOCABULARY BOX.</p><p>Also add the revised word/phrase above the question it is used in, but this time using the H5 (Heading 5) formatting. Don't leave any translation, not to rob the  student of the opportunity to figure out how familiar they are with the vocabulary mentioned.</p>]]></content:encoded>

            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It's good practice to practice the pronunciation of all the words/phrases you put in the VOCABULARY BOX at the end of the lesson (those introduced during the lesson as well as those practiced/revised that you have put there and in the HW).</p><p>Simply go over the vocabulary box, highlighting the above-mentioned words/phrases and asking the students to repeat after you.</p><p>Repeat with the student until they have pronounced the words/phrases accordingly.</p><p>Feel free to encourage those rather shy students to repeat after you. Be relentless, unless the student finds it really difficult to cooperate, for some reason.</p>]]></content:encoded>

Thus, the placement of the vocabulary in the box should correspond to the student's knowledge and their need for practice.</p>]]></content:encoded>
